Strategic Plan
Our vision statement says "we seek to be an innovative, growing church proclaiming Jesus Christ, empowered by the Spirit to transform God's world". We are breathing life into that vision through our Strategic Plan which is serving as our blueprint for mission and ministry from 2007 to 2012.

Through a network of organisations, UnitingCare SA demonstrates the Uniting Church's commitment to supporting vulnerable members of our community and the importance of engaging all people in advocating for a better world.

UnitingCare Synergy

Disaster and Recovery Ministry SA
Disaster and Recovery Ministry SA is a state government sponsored program which draws on many churches in South Australia to provide care to those affected by natural disasters. The program is managed by the Uniting Church.

Uniting Church SA Historical Society
Uniting Church SA Historical Society is responsible to the Synod to promote the collection, preservation and exhibition of historical documents and records.
Education & Discipleship
Uniting College
The Uniting College for Leadership & Theology is the Uniting Church's centre for discipleship and ministry training in SA.

Schools and Colleges associated with the Uniting Church
Schools and colleges associated with the Uniting Church provide education for around 6,000 students from Early Learning to tertiary support in South Australia.

The Synod Ecumenical Relationships Committee seeks to encourage exploration of new possibilities of working ecumenically at Synod and congregational levels.

Placements and Safe Church
Mission Resourcing
Mission Resourcing is a department of the Uniting Church SA specifically focussed on activities and initiatives in the areas of justice, Indigenous issues, international mission, local congregations and families & young people.

Intergenerational Ministry

MediaCom Education Inc
MediaCom cooperatively contributes to the resourcing of Uniting Church SA congregations and groups by providing Christian education resources and support.
Lectionary
The lectionary provides an optional schedule of Bible readings for use in our congregations and centres.

Lay Preachers
Across our Presbytery/Synod each week preachers who aren't ordained ministers share their gifts for ministry in large and small congregations.

Generate 2021
There are currently four new church plants and two church regenerations progressing as part of the Generate 2021 project.

Uniting Foundation
Uniting Foundation receives applications and provides significant financial grants for projects which are considered to be at the 'cutting edge' of services and programs which will build vibrant church communities and lead the Church into the future.

The Financial Services Team administers the Uniting Church SA's $10m annual budget and provides financial services to Presbytery and Synod departments.

Uniting Church Insurance Services arrange insurance cover for church property and church activities with the cooperation and support of individual congregations and church councils.
