‘’Fun Raising’’ – Flip Those Pancakes

One of the main principles of fundraising campaigns is that participants should have fun at the same time. Hence, “fun-raising” is as important as fundraising. The one follows the other; funds are raised when people have fun.

Another principle is that people should know what they are raising funds for.

This year, Pancake Day 2025 is being launched on March 4 in Hindmarsh Square. After that, we will seek as much support as possible from other organizations and congregations in raising money for the UnitingCare SA Relief Centres and other organizations.

Because in reality, there are people in our community who are doing it tough.

The Foodbank Hunger Report 2024 highlighted that 30% of South Australian metropolitan households were struggling to put food on their table, with 21% of these missing multiple meals or going without food for an entire day.

Register here to hold an event in your office, school, community club, or sporting team. Our Relief Centres show up every day to help put food on people’s tables. It is time for the Uniting Church to step up and support this cause.
