Reflection of the Week - 5 September 2018

Posted in Faith

'O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them. The earth is full of your creatures.' Psalm 104:24

The spin of the Ferris Wheel gives a bird's eye view of your world, and from there we can only admire the best of the crop in the pavilion; the pick of the prize winning animals groomed for the show ring.

'O Lord, in the 'swings and roundabouts' of life, every creature matters, for they and we, are the work of your hands, and therefore unique and precious in your sight.

Today, I will continue to be open to a new appreciation of God's creatures, the workaday people and animals that never make it to the show ring.

Reflection of the Week - 16th April 2024

Don’t you wonder sometimes how our covenant Lord who is God – Creator, Master, and Teacher, can and does create from nothing and does not need anything or anyone but is helplessly in love with you?
