Reflection of the Week - 28 August 2019

Posted in Faith

Lord, there is so much human need around us,

It's tempting to withdraw into our cave

And let it all pass by.

'I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in... ...Whatever you did for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, You did for me.' Matthew 25:35,40

Jesus, imprint on my heart

That whatever I do for others, I do for you,

And whatever I don't do for others,

I don't do for you.

Lord, give me the grace to be willing

To pay the price of truly loving people,

Of making the sacrifices in time and energy.

Give me your heart,

So that you can love through me.

Reflection of the Week - 16th April 2024

Don’t you wonder sometimes how our covenant Lord who is God – Creator, Master, and Teacher, can and does create from nothing and does not need anything or anyone but is helplessly in love with you?

Safe Church Screening

It’s nearly 5 years since the introduction of the Working With Childrens Check (WWCC) became a minimum requirement for those with roles of responsibility within the life of the church.
