Reflection of the Week - 26 September 2018

Posted in Faith

As the weather warms; Spring's warmth seeps into cold bones, so it reminds us of God's love seeping into our lives, soaking into our souls, surrounding us at all times.

Psalm 136:1-3 (TNIV) Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever. Romans 5:5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love  has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Thank you merciful God for your amazing love. Thank you for the warmth your love brings to our lives. Thank you for your love that seeps and soaks into our lives, surrounds us wherever we are. Today we pray for those who feel unloved, for those in our world without hope. We pray for those thinking about ending it all. We pray for those who are lonely, depressed or struggling with life. Amen.

Lord God, As you have poured out your love into my heart, help me to share; to show your love to all around me, in my family, my work, my church, my life. We give thanks to you: your love endures forever!

Reflection of the Week - 16th April 2024

Don’t you wonder sometimes how our covenant Lord who is God – Creator, Master, and Teacher, can and does create from nothing and does not need anything or anyone but is helplessly in love with you?
