Reflection of the Week - 15 May 2019

Posted in Faith

There are times in life where we feel helpless

Time passes in a swirl of activity and busy-ness.

Or slows to a crawl, in a lull of loneliness and wondering.

Be comforted by the words David wrote about God, the Good Shepherd.

Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.

He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

How wonderful that, with God, I lack nothing.

Small though my joy may be, and though I still feel weary,

the knowledge of God leading me

is enough.

Father, help me to remember your tender care for me.

Help me to walk the right paths without protest or resistance,

knowing you care for me.

May this eternal peace comfort me, and may I share it with those I love.

Amen.

Reflection of the Week - 16th April 2024

Don’t you wonder sometimes how our covenant Lord who is God – Creator, Master, and Teacher, can and does create from nothing and does not need anything or anyone but is helplessly in love with you?

Safe Church Screening

It’s nearly 5 years since the introduction of the Working With Childrens Check (WWCC) became a minimum requirement for those with roles of responsibility within the life of the church.
