Reflection of the Week - 13 February 2019

Posted in Faith

We live in a time of instant gratification, of wanting things immediately. We are in a hurry to get everywhere and when we arrive we are anxious to leave. Let us take a little time now and wait on the Lord.

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 27:14 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him Psalm 37:7a

How much more we would experience in our lives if we just took the time to listen to what the Lord has to say to us? The Lord brings us peace, gives us strength, soothes our aching hearts and weeps with us when we weep. Let us wait on the Lord.

Compassionate God, You see only see the best in me. You wait patiently for me to knock on your door and enter. Help me to not be in such a hurry each day but to wait on You.

Reflection of the Week - 16th April 2024

Don’t you wonder sometimes how our covenant Lord who is God – Creator, Master, and Teacher, can and does create from nothing and does not need anything or anyone but is helplessly in love with you?
