Teaching weekend on Galatians

Rosefield Uniting Church

Rev Dr Sunny Chen from Melbourne is the speaker at Rosefield Uniting Church's annual teaching weekend, Friday 13 – Sunday 15 May. The theme is “At the Crossroads” and will focus on the book of Galatians. Sunny is a chaplain at the University of Melbourne with a PhD in Pauline studies. Co-sponsored by Urban Mission Network, Uniting College of Leadership & Theology, and the SA Lay Preachers Committee. Called to Care orientation sessions

Church Council members and key leaders are invited and encouraged to attend a Called to Care orientation session. Coming up this month are two opportunities to participate. Digital cameras wanted for Philippines trip

In February Alexandra Bingham (Uniting Church SA member and young leader) will be heading back to the northern Philippines to work with Indigenous communities for the year. As part of the project she is looking to run creative photography classes with communities and their children to explore different ways of telling their own stories with a digital camera. She is calling for any used, pre-owned compact digital cameras that are no longer being used. At least 5 (preferably 10) digital cameras are needed. Exploring silent prayer

Christ Church Wayville

A small group meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at Christ Church (26 King William Road, Wayville) from 7.30-9.15am to practice silent waiting on God and to reflect together on the life of the Gospel. Friendship club – first meeting for 2016

Western Link Uniting Church

Western Link Uniting Church (93 Crittenden Road, Findon) will hold its first Friendship Club meeting for 2016 on Thursday 18 February at 1.30pm.
