Armistice Resource for Rememberance Day
This year sees the centenary celebrations of the Armistice that ended the fighting in the First World War. Defence Chaplain, Rev Sue Page, and the centre for Music, Liturgy and the Arts, have put together a wonderful resource for this occasion.

Indonesia tsunami crisis: it gets personal for UnitingWorld
This past weekend an earthquake hit Central Sulawesi causing a tsunami in Palu. There have been more than 1,200 people killed and over 50,000 people displaced. UnitingWorld staff and partners have lost friends and loved ones too. Dr Sureka Goringe, National Director of UnitingWorld, has called for prayers and donations.

Respecting the Polity of the Uniting Church
The President of the Uniting Church in Australia, Dr Deidre Palmer, distributed a pastoral letter to all members last week. The letter was not directly related to the New Times article, “A non-geographic Presbytery for SA?” but rather a reaction to conversations occurring outside the polity umbrella of the UCA.
