Synod of SA short-term Recovery Liaison Pastor Rev Dr Phillip Marshall, who was placed on Kangaroo Island shortly after the bushfires last year, has been celebrated with the SA Power Networks Community Empowerment award.

Books for Lesotho (B4L) is an incorporated non- government not-for-profit organisation set up to provide books for libraries in schools in the Kingdom of Lesotho, a small mountainous country located in the North East of South Africa.
The CK Community Hub (formerly known as the Cottage Kitchen) came to fruition as a result of a vision held by two members of the Port Adelaide Uniting Church Parish.
What a blessing it was to be able to meet face-to-face at the beautiful facilities of Adelaide West, Yarthu-Apinthi and the lovely lawns and gardens in between. I think our gathering for the annual meeting of Synod was a wonderful time of fellowship, worship, learning and discerning together.
