Expression of Interest - Uniting Venues SA

Uniting Venues SA’s (UVSA) mission is to provide opportunities for exploring faith, fostering community, creative learning and leadership development through exceptional Christian hospitality.

The UVSA Committee lives out this mission by providing oversight of its camps, campsites, conference and retreat centres and outdoor education services on behalf of the Synod.

The UVSA Committee is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced individuals for the role of Committee Member. 

The committee is seeking to appoint up to 5 new volunteer members. Every committee member will have an active Christian faith and a commitment to the ethos of the Uniting Church and its mission in South Australia, a passion for Christian camping and a desire to contribute to Uniting Venues SA achieving its mission.

Members of the UVSA Committee are appointed based on their skills and experience. In particular, the committee is seeking interested individuals with experience in:

• Education
• Outdoor education and recreation
• Workplace health and saftey
• Risk and compliance; and/or
• Marketing and communications.

The UVSA Committee meets approximately four times a year during work hours at the Synod office.
