Older people thriving at Walkerville
Earlier this year, Walkerville Uniting Church successfully applied for a grant to fund a comprehensive series of events and programs to be run throughout 2018 with the motto “Don’t just survive: thrive with age”.

Aged care commission announced
Minister for Aged Care Ken Wyatt has announced a plan to establish a new Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission by 1 January, 2019. UnitingCare Australia has congratulated the Turnbull Government for creating the commission.

Journeying along the Murray
Uniting Church SA Moderator Rev Sue Ellis talks about her plans for the Living Water Tour, which will focus on eco-theology, intentional discipleship and Ngarrindjeri spirituality. The tour is geared towards Baby Boomers, but all people are invited.

Serving those in need over Easter

Kicking goals for older South Australians
UnitingSA, is excited to unveil plans for a five-storey development in Adelaide’s west, which will put aged care at the heart of the community. UnitingSA West Lakes will incorporate residential aged care, retirement living apartments, retail spaces and more.
U City development awarded highest ‘green’ design rating in SA
Adelaide’s new U City development has been recognised as South Australia’s ‘greenest’ building design to date. U City is predicted to use 45 per cent less energy and 30 per cent less water than a comparable new building.
