2022 Stipends Update

The latest edition of the Dollars and Sense enews was sent out last week from the Resources team.

Since that edition was published, there has been an update to the 2022 Stipends information that will be important for congregations to be aware of as they set their budgets for 2022.

The Stipends Committee met last week and agreed to recommend to the Synod Standing Committee to increase the Stipend rate for 2022 by 2.25%. This is higher than the amount originally anticipated for 2022 due to broader economic changes and with reference to the most recent inflation rates.

The final decision will be made by the Synod Standing Committee at its meeting on December 3^rd, 2021. We will continue to keep you updated.
