Blank Canvas is a youth and young adult’s visual arts café run once a month at The Corner Uniting Church.
It’s a place to chat, create and just be…as we eat, drink and explore faith and life together.
It’s free but there is a small cost for food and drinks at the Café.

(Officially finishes at 10:30) We are a group of young people who highly value an inclusive community and desire to learn about and be changed by the person of Jesus Christ. We participate in a wide range of activities including, worship and speaker nights, community service nights, mission nights, invite a friend nights, themed parties and panel nights. We also have camps once a term where we get away from “normal” life to have fun and learn from each other.

On a normal week a Friday night would consist of a bible study or theological discussion followed up with games and prayer. On occasion a movie, bowling or outreach night would be organised.
For youth ages 12-18
Youth group is held in the new hall at 7pm - 10:30pm each Friday night.
There is no charge unless advertised, and if possible bring some food to share with the other youth members.

Hi, I am Josh Sanders! I am the Youth and Young Adult Leader at Gawler Uniting Church. My role is to build a community of youth and young adults that is based on love, encouragement and other teachings of Jesus Christ. We have a modern service with live music and different speakers; this is followed by a youth program including group activities, a meal and opportunities to grow as a community in faith. About the group
Seahawks provides two programs; junior youth between the ages of 6 and 13 & senior youth, between the ages of 13 and 16. Typical program is games, craft, cooking & other fun activities, devotion and supper to round out the night. We also have many theme nights that see us at the beach, bowling, ice skating and doing lots of other awesome stuff. We meet Friday evenings for weeks 1 to 8 of each school term.. Our big gatherings are on Friday nights at 7:30pm in time for a 7:45 kick-off. They run through til 10pm and are jam packed. We do our best to help you connect with God which includes a message that really hits the mark in terms of the stuff that matters to you and the world in which you find yourself and music and media that really takes you somewhere.
We finish up the night with community time at XS Cafe and are working on making it the best value for money meal and great place to kickback after a solid week.
