- SHARING GOOD NEWS: “Reaching out in God’s love” shapes our various programs, ministries and practical service, aiming to connect with the current needs and lifestyles of the wider community.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- “Pantry 152”: Weekly every Wednesday 10am-12noon – Emergency food relief programme, offering help with the necessities of life for those who are struggling to make ends meet. Time for a cup of coffee and a chat.
- Creative Connection (Craft Group): 9:30 to 11:30 every Thursday morning during school terms. A variety of art and craft suitable for adult males and females. Cost is $4.00 per session – which includes morning tea – the emphasis is on fun and participation.
- Circle of Friends: A group for women meeting on the second Tuesday of each month (only during school term time). Meeting time 1:30pm till 3pm at the church. Fellowship and discussion on issues of faith in a relaxed and informal environment. Tea/Coffee provided.
- Friday Friends: Held on the Last Friday of the month from 10.00 to 11.30 am. All are welcome to come along for a cuppa and a friendly chat.
- Home Aloners (for men ): First Tuesday of the month – lunchtime get together – 12 noon for men.
- Home Groups: Some groups meet regularly, others occasionally, They vary in focus, some are Bible study based and others are more social, but each is intended to help us to learn more about Jesus and care and support one another.
- Community Markets: Two a year to coincide with Easter and Christmas.
