Join us at Yarthu-Apinthi as Mission Resourcing hosts the Adelaide hub for the inaugural Rev Dr Michelle Cook Lecture.
Date: October 1st.

Presented via livestream by Rev Ken Sumner and Dr Rosemary Dewerse, this inaugural lecture honours the legacy of Rev Dr Michelle Cook. A minister, scholar, and teacher whose life embodied an incarnational theology: lived, not just discussed.
Rev Ken Sumner is a Kukabrak/Ngarrindjeri korni (man) from the Moorundi, Mungkanbuli, Kurangk and Yarluwar in South Australia.
Dr Rosemary Dewerse is a practical theologian and Academic Dean at the Uniting College for Leadership and Theology in Adelaide. Together, in the spirit of Michelle's own pedagogy of "walking together," they will present as First and Second Peoples in conversation. Engaging with First Peoples justice-based theology and what it means to be church in a colonised, multicultural context.
