The History Trust of South Australia has opened registrations for South Australia’s History Festival 2023 (1-31 May). Communities, collectors, clubs, and historical societies are welcome to be part of Australia’s biggest history festival - a month-long showcase of history.
This is a great opportunity for local churches to relate to their wider community by holding an event which can attract people to come inside the front doors. An event or display can be held over one day, a week, or even the whole month.
The theme for 2023 is WONDER, which may lead to stories congregations can tell about both their past and their present.
There is a small registration fee to participate in the Festival. Your event will gain exposure through the overarching statewide promotional campaign: feature on the dynamic website; digital advertising campaign, through social media engagement, and targeted traditional media reach.
