Event details

"Imitating Christ" is seen by many as the key to salvation. While many a saint may have perfected a Christ-like aspect in their life, this pathway can greatly inspire all Christians. This session will consider how an ethical life, in a time of moral-individualism when incorporating the very life of Christ has the power to transform the human condition. Martin will share his doctoral studies on the "Imitatio Jesu" as a path of inner transformation and its centrality for the modern ethics and virtue.

Martin Samson is currently finishing his doctoral studies on the Christology of Rudolf Steiner. He grew up in South Africa and joined the Redemptorist Order. After encountering the teachings of Rudolf Steiner he became a minister with "The Christian Community", a religious body founded on Steiner’s insights. He has worked in Australia in various communities since 1992 and currently continues to teach religious and spiritual themes from his new home in Sydney.
