Finding yourself a single parent may have an impact on your faith, lead you to find a new church home or explore faith for the first time. Anchor is a safe-haven for single parents to discuss with other Christian single parents the challenges and triumphs we experience.
This monthly peer-support ministry for single parents was recently launched at Malvern Uniting Church and is led by a divorced dad and widowed mum.
We meet every fourth Sunday of the month at 1pm in the Malvern Uniting Church Office complex.
We are kid friendly and meet for only an hour, so you can still juggle church services, custody exchanges, getting ready for the work week, birthday parties, sport commitments and everything else on our plates.
All single parents are welcome – dads, mums, and it doesn’t matter if you’re a single parent due to relationship break-down, death of a partner or by choice.
