Free Information Day at Resthaven Onkaparinga Community Services
On Wednesday 7 June, Resthaven Onkaparinga Community Services are holding a free information day, aimed at at ‘Helping you through the maze of aged care services’.
The session, held from 10am to 2.30pm, will feature:
- guest speakers from Agedcare Alternatives (an aged care information provider), SAPOL, who will speak about keeping safe at home, and Haagan Van Dyke, a financial adviser and accredited aged care professional
- information sessions, including ‘an introduction to community services’, ‘independent living: equipment and you’, and ‘accessing community services through Resthaven’
- activities including blood pressure and glucose testing, and hand massages
Morning tea will be provided.
A one-on-one consult with a Community Services Coordinator can also be booked to assist in assessing individual needs.
