Tarooki Campsite - Project Update

Posted in Uniting Venues

Above are the before and after photos of the hall.

Following twelve months of investigation, design development and cost estimates; the Tarooki dining room extension was recently completed. The purpose of the extension is twofold: to increase the capacity of the existing dining room and to create a dedicated recreation space. Now complete, the result looks magnificent.

Works commenced in mid-May 2019 and were completed in August. Local Robe builder Heath Bundy completed most of the work whilst painting and floor coverings were left for Uniting Venues SA staff to manage. A team of staff from Adare, Nunyara and Beyond Limits assisted with painting and a local carpet layer installed the floor coverings.

Special mention must be made of the Tarooki Management Committee for their vision and forethought. Tarooki has long been important ministry of Uniting Church in SA and it is pleasing to see re-investment occurring at all Uniting Venues SA venues. Thanks and praise to God for His abundant blessing for Tarooki and the broader Uniting Venues SA team.
