Reflection of the week

Posted in Faith

With just a few short weeks until Christmas, we enter into a season of waiting, anticipating, getting ready.

“A voice of one calling in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him. Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth. And all people will see God's salvation’.” – Luke 3:4-6

Lord, in Christ, we have seen your salvation. We celebrate his birth in a few weeks, and treasure your truth in our hearts.

May my Christmas preparations be inward-looking, preparing my heart for the arrival of Jesus. May external preparations be a small part of my Christmas, and may I invite others to see God's salvation for themselves.

Reflection of the Week - 16th April 2024

Don’t you wonder sometimes how our covenant Lord who is God – Creator, Master, and Teacher, can and does create from nothing and does not need anything or anyone but is helplessly in love with you?
