Have you ever stepped inside the church that overlooks the river and town gardens, depicted on the Strathalbyn town logo? Step inside and behold the exquisite stained-glass windows and the magnificent timber roof trusses. The oldest remaining Presbyterian church building in the state, now Uniting. Hear about the history of the building and the people. Donations to its restoration.
10am to 3pm daily, Sunday 19 to Saturday 25 May.
No prior reservations are necessary. Generous donations towards the St. Andrews Strathalbyn Restoration Fund are warmly welcomed.
This event is a proud participant of the SA History Festival and an integral part of the Strathalbyn 185 in 2024 celebrations.
