The Child Safe Environments: Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect courses educate participants about their legal obligation to report reasonable suspicion and concerns about child abuse and neglect.
All church leaders, including Elders and Church Council, are encouraged to participate in training and to maintain their knowledge in this area. It is a requirement for those in ministry placements, paid leadership roles to undertake and maintain this training.
Full day courses are offered for those who have never participated before and or have not attend within the last 4-5 years.
Refresher training is offered to maintain knowledge and to update individuals on new requirements as relevant.
