This Poet's Corner event from the Effective Living Centre will feature guest Pat Lee.
After retiring from teaching, Pat started turning the scribbles she had saved over a lifetime into poems. She joined Friendly Street Poets in 2012, and from 2013, her poetry has been widely published.
Pat has Parkinson's disease and in 2014 she received an Arts SA Richard Llewellyn Arts & Disability emerging artist mentorship grant. She hopes her first book of poems 'Nudge the Morning' will encourage people to reconnect with and enjoy the natural world around them.
Cost: $15 Adults; $12 Concession; $10 ELC Friends. Please pay at the door on the night.
