Ascot Community Uniting Church

24 Fifth Avenue, Ascot Park

20 May 2017 9:30am - 2:00pm

Event details

A half day, interactive conference, open to all. This gathering provides opportunity to listen, learn and respond to matters that were at the heart of the 'The Reformation'.

Sparked by Luther's 95 Theses, nailed to the Castle Church door in Wittenberg in 1917, in many ways the church rediscovered her own gospel.

"The Gospel, plus nothing". This is 'The Radical Gospel'.
We pray for fresh rediscoveries as we come together to speak, to listen and to share in the riches of Jesus Christ.

What do you know of The Scots Confession, or The Heidelberg Catechism?
What of the Westminster Confession of Faith, or the Savoy Declaration?
Can you articulate the person and work of Christ the justifier?

Speakers: Deane Meatheringham, David Kowalick, and Andrew Klynsmith

Come along and bring a friend.
Cost $20 includes Subway lunch, and morning tea.
