Presbytery & Synod Meetings

The Presbytery and Synod is the governing structure of the Uniting Church in South Australia which is made up of members from congregations and people in ministry placements.

The business at a Presbytery and Synod meeting may be made up of words and theory, but they represent to us the activity and excitement of the Holy Spirit working in our midst. Even the tiniest detail of governance is a part of the work we have been called to do: ministry to and for the world in the name of Christ.

The gathering of the Presbytery and Synod members is an opportunity for every church, faith community or mission network to have a voice in the way that our ministry is carried out.
