Worship Times & Activities
Sunday 9.30am – All welcome
Sunday School 9.30am (begins by joining the congregation in the Church). Two classes – Preschool and School age (to Junior Secondary).
Morning tea follows the service and a Soup’n’Slice luncheon happens on the first Sunday of the month after 11.30am (except Jan or if another event clashes).
Ladies Fellowship meets monthly on the first Wednesday for activities at the Church and in town and further afield.
Church Council meets every second Tuesday of the month.
Yorketown is located in southern Yorke Peninsula approximately 225km from Adelaide CBD (at the “ankle” of the foot of the peninsula) servicing the rural and tourism industries through: the hospital and allied health services; financial and legal services; retail services e.g. food, clothing, vehicles, rural & hardware merchandise.
The congregation in the past few years has had a significant change in its makeup becoming quite diverse in a number of areas:
- Age: currently new born to 95yrs plus
- Families: young families, maturing families, grandparents
- Working: full-time, part-time, semi-retired and retired
