Seacliff Uniting Church will present the next Uniting Conversations event on Sunday, August 18th, at Seacliff UC, 5 Wheatland Street, Seacliff 5049, commencing at 7:00 PM. The topic for this event is "Avoiding Scams," and there will be a presentation by Jane Widdowson, Senior Conciliation Officer, Advice & Conciliation, Consumer and Business Services, Attorney-General's Department. A presentation by SAPOL is also planned. Following the presentations, there will be an opportunity for those attending to ask questions. After the Q&A session, people will be invited to supper (provided by Seacliff UC), where they will have the opportunity to speak with the presenters. A gold coin donation is requested to help offset costs.
