Event details

Each year Clayton Wesley Uniting Church warmly invites singers to come and participate in a community singalong with professional singers and amateurs alike to present the Christmas version of GF Handel’s “Messiah”.

This year, 2023, the event is being held on Sunday 26 November.

Bring your music and join the singers or come to the concert to listen and be inspired by one of the greatest musicals ever written.

Conducted by Kim Worley and accompanied by Matthew Atherton on the famous 130-year-old JE Dodd pipe organ, come and be blessed by performing or listening to beautiful music in the 350 seat Clayton Church – one of the finest acoustic spaces for music in Adelaide.

A rehearsal of the choruses for singers will be held in the church from 3.00 pm – 4.00 pm. Afternoon tea will be provided in Clayton Chapel behind the church from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
The concert will start at 5.00 pm and finish at approximately 6.10 pm.

If you haven’t got music, we can provide it. Tickets available through TryBooking – see the website for access or www.trybooking.com/CMGEL (opens in a new window)
