Interfaith Matters! Forum: Reflecting on The Spirit and The Voice - how do our values guide our intentions

Pilgrim Uniting Church

12 Flinders Street, Adelaide

27 September 2023 6:00pm - 8:30pm

Event details

The question we would like to reflect on, as part of our Spiritual Awareness, is this: Can we tune inwardly into our souls, our indwelling spirit, to the quiet voice within as we weigh up the information and make our decisions about how to vote? Can doing that help each of us to make our decision? How will these values help us to 'walk together' the day after the Referendum?

A panel, representing diverse faiths-traditions, will provide reflections and a Q&A session, as well as table-conversations, to be part of a open-ended respectful evening.

The panel will be led by MC: Allen Edwards (Snr) and consist of Auntie Rosemary Wanganeen (Centre of Griefology); Rev John Hughes (Pilgrim UCA); Mahboobeh Aryanpad (Baha'i Faith); and Sister Megha (Brahama Kumaris).

A shared meal will complement our table-conversations.
Meals $15- $20 (cash) & a gold coin donation towards our venue will be appreciated.
Details: Pilgrim Church Hall, 12 Flinders Street, Adelaide.
Please RSVP by 24th September to Denise Martin (Turn on Javascript!) with numbers and with any dietary requirements.

This event has been brought together by the Interfaith Forum Support Group.
