This riveting tale of a town, and a nation, "Telling Tennant's Story" is a combination of memoir, political and intellectual history. Dean sets out to understand how the story of 'relations between two racial groups' had been told and not told - including the first encounters of black and white, the work of the early anthropologists, historians and the courts, in landmark cases about land rights, the Stolen Generations, and continuing controversy.
This event is promoted by the Unley Uniting Church and the Unley Uluru Statement from the Heart Support Group.
Thursday 28th September 2023 starting at 7pm in the Unley Town Hall, Oxford Terrace, Unley.
