Event details

Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC) invite you to join Australians of many faiths to stand in solidarity with Pacific and First Nations people in the struggle for climate justice on this Day of Prayer. The General Secretary of the Pacific Conference of Churches, Rev James Bhagwan will hold Eucharist on a sandbar in Fiji at dawn, as the sun rises over the sea. Multi-faith services are planned across Australia on October 13th, see www.arrcc.org.au/f4cj2022 (opens in a new window) for more information.

This will be our chance as people of faith to come together to show that we care deeply about the climate crisis. Let’s show solidarity with our neighbours in the Pacific. The services will feature music, chanting, congregational singing and prayers from a range of faith traditions. Come along, show your support and be inspired!
