This foundational, non-accredited course explores at depth the Uniting Church’s Code of Ethics for Ministry Practice. The Course includes training in the awareness of the prevention of sexual misconduct.
The ‘Code of Ethics’ is a two-day course which prepares students for the complexities and joys of ministry practice.
The ‘Code of Ethics’ Foundations course is a requirement for those working within the Uniting Church Australia in any ministry capacity and for ministers transferring from other denominations.
To gain Synod certification in this course, students are required to complete a self-evaluation assessment at the course’s conclusion and then supply two completed referee evaluation forms.
Lecturers: Rev Dr Sean Gilbert and Rev Philip Gardner.
Morning and afternoon tea supplied. Please bring your own lunch.
