Unley Uniting Church will be reading Sally Douglas' 'The Church Triumphant as Salt: Becoming the Community Jesus Speaks About' together during February 2022. We invite others to join us. Sally explores the metaphor of being called to be salt of the earth and the challenges it provides for us in our present times. Salt preserves, but too much salt spoils things. In reading this together we expect to explore faithful ways of being church today.
Sally is a UCA colleague, currently ministering in inner city Melbourne and is an adjunct lecturer at Pilgrim Theological College
