The Synod Art Project is an initiative of the General Secretary, Rev Felicity Amery as a way of broadening the conversation the Synod of SA is having about who it is and what God might be doing in and through the Synod over the next few years.
Visual artists associated the UCA in SA were invited to create works that consider how we experience our communion, our togetherness, with God, one another and all creation, in the everyday, and 13 artists have produced 30 works in a variety of media in response. These are currently exhibited in the Synod Office.
Come join Karan Hudson, Dieter Engler and Neryl McCallum for a tour of the works. There are three dates to choose from and entry is free. However bookings are essential due to limited places.
