A Refugee Week event: 'Celebrate with Refugees' as they share milestones achieved, stories of celebration and some of the challenges ahead.
Hear about the way Circle of Friends (COFA) and Justice for Refugees work alongside refugees in an interactive setting, and a presentation of 'Jesus was a Refugee' (by Andrew McDonough within the Lost Sheep series). There will be a medley of panel speakers including Mahan (Iranian), Zahra Bayani (Afghani), Mabok (Sundanese).
A delicious meal will be served of soup (vegetarian options) and sour dough bread followed by cake and tea/coffee. GF options available. Please let us know of any dietary issues.
Please book via Eventbrite. Cost is $50 for a couple/$30 full/$20 concession. Donations will be appreciated to COFA (Pilgrim).
