Event details

Pilgrim Uniting Church will be conducting free one-hour guided tours for South Australia's History Festival. When: Every Tuesday and Thursday in May at 11am and 2pm sharp.

About Pilgrim:
Hidden behind stone walls in Flinders Street, is a long-forgotten history and a present-day wonder, the Pilgrim Uniting Church. The church sprung from the colony of South Australia’s early beginnings in 1837. It has many historical gems – rare Revival Gothic architecture and stone carvings, including a pet squirrel! See memorial plaques to pioneers of South Australia, relics from the original Pirie Street Methodist Church, quaint stained glass windows and the magnificent rose window. Pilgrim also boasts Adelaide’s largest organ. An archival exhibition will be on display during the History Festival.

All welcome.
