This is one of three exciting events which explore the significance of contemporary Christian songs and hymns in Adelaide 1968 - 2020.
The Creative Singing Group (CSG) was a multi arts performing group which burst onto the church music scene in 1970 with powerful new expressions of worship. Key people in the production of these new songs were Rod Boucher, who will lead CSG members in singing some of those songs. Douglas Simper, who wrote some of the songs and is launching his latest book - 'Singing the Journey.' 100 contemporary Christian Songs and published by MediaCom Education Inc.. David Woods who will be the MC for the day and the late Neil Quintrell who contributed to many of those early songs.
1pm - 4pm Saturday 20th March CSG ReUnion at Pilgrim Uniting Church.
4pm - 6.30 pm CSG sings and book launch - at Pilgrim Uniting Church - public event.
