APAN Study Tour to Palestine, 26 January-2 February 2020

Palestine Study Tour

26 January 2020 - 2 February 2020

Event details

The Australia Palestine Advocacy Network 2020 study tour to Palestine is a unique study tour with interactions with Palestinian and Israeli communities and experts, Australian Ambassadors, United Nations officials, human rights organisations, visits to Australian-funded aid projects and much more. If you want to learn about the myriad contemporary – and historical – issues of the modern Middle East, this Study Tour is for you.

You don’t need to be an expert in politics or foreign affairs. APAN study tours are working tours designed for people with an active interest in Palestine, the Palestinian people and peace in the region. We provide pre-tour briefings and useful reading lists to help you get the most out of your experience. Groups are small, averaging 8-12 people, allowing time and space to engage with the people and the issues, providing a more enriching travel experience.

APAN study tours are run at cost and come at one low fee. The tour fee includes international economy-class airfare, in-country accommodation in a single room (4 star bed & breakfast hotels), in-country transport, most meals, pre-departure briefing and information booklet, and access to the experts and experiences other tours don’t visit.

Tour cost: A$7,000 per person which includes one international economy-class airfare ex-nearest Australian capital city, in-country accommodation (4 star bed & breakfast hotels with your own single room), in-country transport, most meals, pre-departure briefing and information booklet.

There will also be some optional day trips at minimal extra cost, such as to the Petra archaeological site in southern Jordan. A $200 non-refundable deposit is payable on registration.

Registrations are open to 1 December 2019 or until tour is fully booked.
