The Road to Christmas is a FREE event to be held:
Friday 13 December 2019 7pm - 9pm
Saturday 14 December 2019 7pm- 9pm
@ Seeds Uniting Church, 42 Sunnymeade Dr, Aberfoyle Park.
Seeds Uniting Church is hosting ‘the Road to Christmas’ once again, a free community event that provides an opportunity to experience the sights, sounds, tastes and smells of first century Bethlehem recreated live in the car park of the Seeds Uniting Church at Aberfoyle Park.
The event features Roman centurions, Herod, Jewish dancing, tax collectors, beggars & lepers, royal wise men, shepherds and of course, Joseph, Mary & Jesus. A large set in the car park ‘sets’ the scene as first century Bethlehem.
There will be first century food to try and the opportunity for children to have a go at weaving, pottery and woodwork.
Storytellers continuously share the story of Christmas in the nativity - hear the story in the stable with the manger, hay bales and Joseph, Mary & Jesus.
We believe this can be an unforgettable event this Christmas for the whole family.
