Reflection of the Week - 16th April 2024
Don’t you wonder sometimes how our covenant Lord who is God – Creator, Master, and Teacher, can and does create from nothing and does not need anything or anyone but is helplessly in love with you?

It can be so easy to allow the short, dark wintry days to set the mood, and allow apathy to sap my vitality for discipleship. When I am at a standstill, I am like the dormant earth; I bear no fruit.
Reflection
“Do not remember the former things, or consider the things of old. I am about to do a new thing. Now it springs forth. Do you not perceive it?” – Isaiah 43:8
Response
With the coming of spring, I see, with delight, trees with fresh new shoots. I see flowering bulbs, once resting in the cold earth of winter. I see newborn lambs, and ripening grain coming into ear. I welcome the signs of the renewal of the earth.
Action
Creator God, I look for renewal in my life, with an infusion of your Holy Spirit, to energise me. To bring a freshness to your commission to share your love with the world.
