Reflection of the week

In this day and age of instant action and gratification – instant coffee, instant messages at the tap of a key – impatience has almost become the norm.

When I petition God for a solution to a problem, I quickly learn that, according to God’s plan, timing is everything.

Won't God give justice to his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he delay long to help them?” – Luke 18:7

This promise is to me and to those of us who persevere in prayer.

Prayer

Ever-patient God, teach me how to calm my anxious fears by trusting you to choose the right time for intervention. When you seem slow to answer grant me the patience to persist in prayer, trusting you with the best outcome. Amen.

Reflection of the Week - 16th April 2024

Don’t you wonder sometimes how our covenant Lord who is God – Creator, Master, and Teacher, can and does create from nothing and does not need anything or anyone but is helplessly in love with you?

Safe Church Screening

It’s nearly 5 years since the introduction of the Working With Childrens Check (WWCC) became a minimum requirement for those with roles of responsibility within the life of the church.
