Uniting Church SA congregations are encouraged to include something on this topic in their worship and/or newsletter on Sunday 4 December.

Resources and other information are available on the Uniting Church SA website here. Resources include prayers and stories, such as “A Prayer for Openness”.

News about UC e-News

At present, UC e-News subscribers receive the weekly email newsletter, e-Updates during Presbytery & Synod meetings, and ad hoc Pastoral Notes on a variety of topics.

In 2017, current UC e-News subscribers will continue to receive the weekly e-newsletter and e-Updates. The e-Updates will cover current events (natural disasters, etc.) and Presbytery and Synod meetings.

Pastoral Notes will be sent to a new subscriber list next year. The notes will mainly reflect on the lives and ministry of Uniting Church SA leaders who have recently passed away. If you would like to subscribe to the new Pastoral Note list please email Turn on Javascript!

Please note: UC e-News will take a short break over December and January. The last UC e-News for 2016 will be sent on Wednesday 14 December. It will start up again on Wednesday 18 January, 2017.

Looking for great gift ideas?

Choosing a gift or calendar from UnitingWorld’s “Everything in Common” gift catalogue means so much more than a quick donation to those “less fortunate” – all proceeds support work with church partners in Asia, Africa and the Pacific. For overseas communities these gifts have significant meaning that remain long after Christmas –clean drinking water, the safe birth of a baby, and much more. For more information, please visit the website here or call (02) 8267 4267.
