Mental health resource

A hard copy version of the new Uniting Church SA mental health resource, “Caring for Community”, will be distributed with 2017 calendars at the November Presbytery and Synod meeting.

Congregations who have not placed a calendar order can collect their copies of this resource from Bev Freeman at the Presbytery and Synod meeting, or by contacting Mission Resourcing on 8236 4249 to get them posted. A downloadable version of the resource is available here.

Resources Open Day

The Uniting Church SA Resources ministry centre will host an open day on Wednesday 2 November. The event will provide an opportunity for church leaders and members to ask questions, tour the office, meet the staff, and find out how Resources can support congregations in ministry.

There are a variety of talks and tours being run over a morning session and an afternoon session - people are invited to attend as many or few as these as suits them.

For more information please download the flyer here. RSVPs are needed by Thursday 27 October to Leah Hopton on 8236 4229 or email at Turn on Javascript!

National Church Life Survey – stories and forms

The National Life Survey (NCLS) is underway, and survey forms should now have been received by all congregations who placed an order.

Mission Resourcing is offering three prizes for the most efficient return of forms, and for the best NCLS stories from the survey. The prizes include Sunday preacher + tailored consultation (with Church Council or Congregation) on local results and possibilities + boxed kit of resources tailored to local needs, valued at $250.
