Reminder: UC e-News & Pastoral Note changes in 2017

As advised in December 2016, some changes have been made to emails received by UC e-News subscribers in 2017.

Prior to the changes, subscribers received the weekly email newsletter, e-Updates during Presbytery & Synod meetings, and ad hoc Pastoral Notes on a variety of topics.

In 2017, current UC e-News subscribers will continue to receive the weekly e-newsletter and e-Updates. The e-Updates will cover current events (natural disasters, urgent church news, etc.) and Presbytery and Synod meetings.

Pastoral Notes will now be sent to a new subscriber list. The notes will mainly reflect on the lives and ministry of Uniting Church SA leaders who have recently passed away. If you would like to subscribe to the new Pastoral Note list, please email Turn on Javascript!

Upcoming events

The majority of Uniting Church SA events are listed on the upcoming events list here.

While there are not many events coming up this week (several churches will continue to hold day camps, and Godly Play Core Training will be held on Thursday 19 January), there are some great training opportunities coming up in February! Hope Valley Uniting Church are holding a Leadership & Discipleship Training Day, while Uniting College for Leadership & Theology is offering intensive courses in areas such as Uniting Church theology, Christian education, preaching, and church planting.

Check out the full list to see other exciting events happening in the coming weeks! Events can be submitted to the list here.
