KCO on the EP

Every year, a number of Uniting Church congregations from across the Eyre Peninsula work together to coordinate a local KCO held at Thuruna, a Uniting Venues site. This year, the camp will run from 23-24 September and focus on the theme of “Big World”, sharing and adapting the resources used at KCO 2017 at Victor Harbor.

In 2016, the KCO EP campsite was fully booked out with about 120 people attending from six different Uniting Churches across the EP.

Please pray for leaders and their current preparations, for the churches as they work together, for campers to be ready and open to engage in Christian community, and for God to be at work in the lives of all attending the event.

People located in the EP region who would like to attend can contact Nicole Callen on 0407 795 760 or Valerie Edwards on 0428 282 535.

Engage Together - intergenerational worship ideas

“Engage Together” is a resource created to provide churches with intergenerational ideas for a call to worship, prayers, songs and Bible readings for worship services during August and September. Although based on the lectionary readings, these ideas can be adapted to suit any Bible/theme focus.

The resource was written and produced in partnership across three Uniting Church Synods, including the Uniting Church SA Intergen Team.

The resource is available to download here: sa.uca.org.au/intergen/church-resources/all-age-worship/
