Presbytery & Synod meeting app

The June Presbytery & Synod meeting will be held next week. Papers are now available online here and via the Yapp app (download instructions below), and will shortly be mailed to those who chose to receive hard copy versions.

This year the organisers are introducing an app to use at the Presbytery and Synod meeting. This app will help members to access information about the schedule, reports and proposals, daily e-Updates, photos, social media links, and other general news. It will also allow for “real time” updates of the meeting's proceedings.

Steps to download the app*:

  1. Go to the App Store on your smartphone or tablet and search for “Yapp”.
  2. Download Yapp (it’s free!) and click “yes” for push notifications if you would like the app to send you “real time” updates during the meeting and extra reports and proposals as they are published.
  3. Once Yapp has been downloaded, open the app and click to connect with/add an existing Yapp. It should then display "http://my.yapp.us" and allow you to type a code next to this. Type in Y7XMVT. This should then allow you to click the "Presbytery & Synod Meeting" Yapp and explore!

Note: If you are having difficulty clicking to open/add an existing Yapp, please click this link on your smart device. Alternatively, open a browser on your computer and enter the address http://my.yapp.us/Y7XMVT, which will open a page where you will need to enter your mobile phone number (removing the 0 at the start and replacing it with the area code 61 for Australia). You will then receive an SMS with a link, which will take you to Yapp where the "Presbytery & Synod Meeting" Yapp will have been added.

*These steps were updated on Tuesday 21 June.

If you have any questions about this app please email Turn on Javascript!
