Workshop: Making Decisions Together

Have you wondered how other churches govern themselves, make decisions and coexist, and asked, “Where can I gain information to assist in my role as a church council member, leader or committee member?”

Making Decisions Together is a workshop for church council members, leaders and committee members that will be held at Christ Church Wayville from 9am-12.30pm on Saturday 22 July.

Rev Terence Corkin (former Uniting Church Assembly General Secretary) will present and lead this workshop, which focuses on making decisions together.

Discover practical tools to apply to a discernment approach to decision making that: honours diversity; respects all participants; is collaborative; builds and sense of community; uses time wisely; is consensus based. Congregations will benefit most if several people attend the workshop together on the day.

Although there is no charge for this workshop, bookings are essential for planning.

#EvacuateNow candlelit vigil

On 19 July, people will gather across the country for a candlelit vigil to shine a light in the dark. Meet at Elder Park from 6-8pm on Wednesday 19 July.
