Meadows Uniting Church

81 Mawson Road, Meadows

Worship times:

Service time is 10 am Sundays.

About us:

Meadows Uniting Church is situated in a small rural and commuting town with a population of about 800.  We are located on the main road through the town, right near the Post Office.

Our congregation is made up of a diverse range of ages and although we are only a small church family, people that visit us comment on how welcome and accepted they feel.  The style of worship reflects this age range with variety in our worship styles.  The first Sunday each month is usually Holy Communion and the third Sunday is often a more relaxed family gathering in the hall at the rear of the church.  The Word of God always has priority in our worship.

We have Sunday School and youth group activities.  A friendship group meets on Wednesday mornings at the church while Mums and pre-schoolers enjoy a music and motion program. Special focus study groups are also held at various times during the year.

Families are very important to us and are a priority in our vision for Meadows.  We have close affiliation with the local school chaplaincy and also have an outreach with the people from the Kuitpo Community, (a drug and alcohol rehab centre based in the adjacent Kuitpo area.)  There have been many precious times shared with these folk.

Why don't you come and test out our hospitality and enjoy our church family.  Look out for that Meadows sense of humour and make sure you bring a jumper -- sometimes it gets cold up here.

Don't forget to join us for a cuppa after the service.  Look forward to seeing you.
